The extent of our resources reflects the strength of our company, established in 1953 and with an annual turnover currently in excess of £20 million.
At the heart of our service is a sophisticated system for monitoring customers' powder requirements, matching to stock levels and ensuring these are predicted and maintained so customers' processes are not interrupted.
This system is supported by one of the largest privately owned bulk pressure tanker fleets in the UK - over 200 articulated tractor and trailer combinations, with tipping and non-tipping pressure tankers, and 8-wheel rigid vehicles.
As proof of our commitment to the environment and to customers' unique needs, we also provide a specialist service, removing and clearing powder products from silos (or other containers).
Users of powder products sometimes find that due to plant design, product type or silo failure, they cannot load back into purpose-designed pressure tankers. Our answer is the specialist CRW vacuum tanker which extracts product from silos safely and efficiently, via a connection point on the silo or through a top hatch.
Our specially trained operators stay on site until the complete contents of the silo have been removed. The contents can then be transferred to another silo and are usually ready to use immediately.
CRW Powderline is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gurney Slade Lime Company, GSL, which also operates the specialist materials production company Francis Flower.
